A comprehensive software system that combines the functions of estimating, order entry, production scheduling & control, and costing. The estimating package allows the user to build up the finished item with the materials, machine and labour hours. Once the order is received, all of the estimating information is handed over to order entry as a bill of materials and routings. Automated shop floor data collection can then be used to gather the actual hours required for running the job. A final comparison can be made which then is used to refine the estimating process.
